Work with Christopher

The tools tell you what to do.
This is the part where someone does it with you.

I work with a small number of independent agencies on an ongoing monthly basis — technology strategy, vendor selection, and implementation oversight. No paid placement, no rip-and-replace, and no pretending you need a big budget to get moving.

What the engagement covers

Four things, done continuously

Not a project with an end date and a final invoice. A standing arrangement, so the thinking keeps up with the agency.

01

Strategy & roadmap

A plan that survives contact with your week.

A standing monthly call where we look at what's actually happening in the agency — not a theory deck. You leave each call knowing the one or two things worth doing next, in what order, and who owns them.

  • →Monthly working session
  • →Written 90-day roadmap
  • →Reviewed as the business changes
02

Vendor selection

Advice nobody paid for.

Shortlists built from what your agency actually needs, with honest notes on who each vendor suits and who it doesn't. I take no paid placement and no referral fees from vendors, so the only thing shaping the recommendation is your situation.

  • →Shortlist against your workflow
  • →Best-for / not-for notes
  • →Pricing and contract questions to ask
03

Implementation oversight

Someone on your side of the table.

The part that quietly eats agencies alive: the migration, the integrations, the vendor who says 'almost done'. I sit between you and the project — checking what's really been delivered, and keeping your core system untouched while everything else gets faster around it.

  • →Migration and integration checks
  • →Scope and timeline pushback
  • →Lab modules wired in where they help
04

Access between calls

Not a monthly invoice and then silence.

Direct access between sessions for the thing that comes up on a Tuesday — a vendor email you want a second read on, a quote about whether a tool is worth the pilot, a producer who's about to buy something on their own.

  • →Direct line between calls
  • →Second reads on vendor claims
  • →Team coaching as tools land

How it starts

Four steps, and the first one is two minutes

1

You send the inquiry

A few details about your agency — size, lines, what you run today, and the challenge that's eating your week. Two minutes, and it tells me whether I can honestly help.

2

We talk for 30 minutes

No pitch deck. We go through what you're dealing with and I tell you straight whether an ongoing engagement makes sense — or whether the free tools and a single vendor are all you need.

3

You get the first 90 days

A short written plan: what to fix first, what to buy, what to assemble from the lab, and what to deliberately leave alone for now. Yours whether or not we keep working together.

4

We work it, monthly

A standing call, a roadmap that stays current, and someone checking that the things you paid for are actually doing what the vendor said they would.

Who this works for

  • →Independent agencies from a handful of people up to a couple of dozen staff
  • →Owners and principals who are in the work, not a committee signing off on a deck
  • →Agencies running an AMS they're not ready to replace — and spreadsheets running beside it
  • →Anyone who suspects they're buying tools one at a time and has no overall plan

Who it isn't for

  • ×Agencies looking for a sales rep for a specific product — I don't sell software
  • ×Anyone wanting their core system ripped out and replaced
  • ×Teams who want a plan delivered and nobody to help them execute it
  • ×Projects where the real question is staffing, not technology

The one promise

I don't sell software, and no vendor has ever paid for a place on this site.

That's not a tagline — it's the only reason a shortlist from me is worth anything. If I tell you to buy something, it's because it fits your agency. If I tell you to hold off, that answer costs nobody anything but a month.

Straight answers

The things people ask first

Do you sell software or take commissions?

No. The vendor directory is independent and nothing on it is paid placement. That's the whole reason the advice is worth anything — if a vendor is on the shortlist, it's because it fits, not because of an arrangement.

Do we have to replace our management system?

No, and I'd push back hard if a vendor told you that you did. The approach here keeps your system of record untouched and adds speed around it — the integration blueprint covers how that works.

We're small. Is this overkill for us?

Small agencies are who this was built for. Most of the value in the first month is subtracting things — stopping a duplicate tool, fixing one workflow that drains hours — rather than buying anything.

What if we just need a one-off opinion?

Say so in the inquiry. Plenty of conversations end with 'book this vendor, skip that one, and use the free lab module for the rest' — and the score, Matchmaker and directory are free to use without talking to me at all.

Is the lab really free?

Yes. Every module, the blueprint, the guides and the growth prompts are free to take and use. The engagement is for the part a PDF can't do: deciding, sequencing, and getting it actually landed.

Start here

Tell me what's eating your week

A few details about your agency and the challenge you're carrying. I read every inquiry personally and reply within a couple of business days — including to tell you when an engagement isn't the right answer.

  • →Two minutes to fill in
  • →No sales sequence, no drip emails
  • →An honest answer either way
